Act 3 Notes Scene 3&4

• Romeo is in Friar Lawerences cell and I upset about what happpened and wonders what punishment the king has given him. 

• Friar Lawrence tells him that he got off easy and is lucky because the prince only banished him. 

• Romeo is upset

• Romeo thinks being banished is worse than death

• This is because he has to be separate from Juliet. 

• THe Nurse comes in and Romeo asks how Juliet is and if she thinks he is a murderer. 

• Romeo threatens to stab himself. 

• Friar stops and scolds him. 

• The Friar decided Romeo will go and be with Juliet but leave when the sun comes up

• The. He will wait until the news from their marriage can spread. 

• THe Nurse hands Romeo the ring from Juliet which makes him feel better

• the calumets walk with Paris. 

• Lord CApulet says that because of what's happened e ad not asked Juliet is she like Paris. 

• Lady CApulet says he will by morning

• Lord CApulet promises Paris there will be a wedding on Wednesday. 

• Lord CApulet asks what day it is 

• Then moves the wedding to Thursday because wednesday was too close to Monday. Which was the day it was
